Chatham County Auxiliary Communications (AUXCOMM) provides communications and other support to Chatham County Emergency Operations, the Chatham EOC, hospitals, and public safety agencies during events, incidents, and disasters.

The Chatham AUXCOMM team is made up of community members, of all abilities and backgrounds, that volunteer their time to train with complex communications systems to support public safety missions. They also receive training on incident management, recognizing severe weather, mapping, and other topics.
